Rudolph Brewster

Obituary of Rudolph Michael Brewster

Rudolph Michael Brewster Jr. was born on January 27, 1957 to Louise Pierre and Rudolph Brewster Sr. in Trinidad & Tobago. He passed away on December 16, 2019 in Saint Paul. Rudolph suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was child that resulted in learning deficits that left him disabled. Throughout his teenage years, Rudolph struggled to come to grips with life but found redemption in Christ. Once Rudolph realized that he was a child of God and that Jesus saves, he never looked back. Once he immigrated to the United States to Minnesota, he found his Church home at River of Life Christian Ministries. He was very involved and loved to participate in Praise and Worship. He was also very devoted to his family, helping to care for and watch over his nieces and nephews, when necessary. Rudolph also had a very special bond with his stepfather, Anslem Pierre, who he lovingly called “Dad” and who called him “son”. He was a constant presence at the family home in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was always there to greet anyone who came. Rudolph loved going to his program at Seed Saint Paul Public School and built strong relationships with his classmates and staff there. He will also be missed by his former coworkers at Brightwater Building Maintenance where he worked as a Janitor. In his free time, Rudolph loved to read his bible, listen to gospel music and watch TV. He also loved to come to family gatherings and eat. We will miss Jun, Jun's laugh, bright eyes and joyous smile. Service 10:30 a.m. Monday December 30th at the Spielman Mortuary Chapel, 344 W. University Ave. St. Paul. Private Inurnment. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service (9:30 - 10:30 a.m.).
